What is Volumetric Concrete?

Volumetric concrete is fresh, on-demand concrete mixed right at your job site. When our volumetric mixer trucks arrive, they’re fully loaded with all the raw materials, each stored separately in its own compartment. Think of it as a mobile batch plant on wheels, ready to deliver perfectly mixed concrete exactly when and where you need it.

With our volumetric concrete service, every batch is custom-mixed on site and metered to the nearest ¼ yard, ensuring zero waste and maximum efficiency. You only pay for what you actually use—no more paying for leftover or “hot” concrete that’s already setting before you can pour it.

This isn’t just concrete; it’s FRESH concrete, with superior workability and extended finishing time your crew will love. Whether you need a few wheelbarrows or several cubic yards, we’ve got you covered.

Say goodbye to waste and inconsistency—say hello to fresh, high-quality volumetric concrete that keeps your project on schedule and your finishers asking, “Can we always get this mud?”

Fresh Concrete:

Many concrete finishers have never experienced or understand FRESH concrete. In most all cases the concrete that is delivered on a traditional ready mix barrel truck is old. It has been on the road for 40-50 minutes plus the time it was at the batch plant.

Most mix designs call for 70 - 100 revolutions in a mix truck with a maximum of 300 turns. Typically, a drum truck is turning 15-22 RPMs. After an initial mix of 40 revolutions at the plant, a 30-minute trip at 10 RPM (which is slow), the drum is now at 340 revolutions. If the trip becomes 45 minutes you may have 400 revolutions. If you are adding water or color on site, you will have another 50-70 turns on the drum making you concrete 'hot' and ready to set. #NotFreshConcrete

Our volumetric concrete mixer runs at 280 RPMs and continuously mixes material. The mix experiences approximately 110 revolutions before exiting the shoot. It is FRESH and truly PERFECT concrete.

Metered Delivery:

All our concrete mixes are metered off the truck and rounded up to the nearest 1/4 yard. We can deliver as little as a few bucketful or as much as you need. There is no minimum order. There is never any “leftover” concrete dumped at your job site. Maximum delivery per truck is 10 cubic yards.

Continuous Pouring:

Need A LOT of concrete? A continuous pour is a great way to produce a lot of concrete fast. The truck sets up onsite and is fed material. It makes concrete without stopping. Significantly faster and easier than a line of ready mix trucks with travel time already on them. No washing out. No slowdowns.
